I just received my invitations, a little late. The reply by date is tomorrow and I won't be sending them until tomorrow! Should I create an ammendment to it or just leave it alone?
Thanks!

Re: Reply by Date passed! Leave alone?
If I got it I would feel like I was a last minute thought or on the B-list.
Unless everyone you are inviting knows about the delay, I would send a note with a new reply date.

If it was the invitation company's fault have them print out new cards.
If you just ordered them late, you might have to bite the bullet and rush order some new ones with maybe July 23 or 26 as RSVP date.

I wish I could order new ones but I'm getting married in 6 weeks and it takes two weeks for an order to come in. My fault as I did not know we were going to do the calligraphy till after ordering the invites and that took another week. Maybe a sticker over the number? from Staples or something with a new date??

Maybe you can print a new RSVP date on a smaller card (business card size) that you can insert with invite giving them until July 23? And on card you can write:
'Disregard RSVP date on invite but please RSVP by July 23, 2004'
Or something like that........Good luck

Re: Reply by Date passed! Leave alone?
Ok, so I spoke with the invitation lady and she had an idea to get a burgundy pen (to match the writing) and put a 1 on front of the 3. It sounds like a good idea,I just hope the ink does not run. Maybe not a felt pen maybe some kind of special pen from the craft store? I have my work cut out for me tomorrow!
