Do you write the # of people invited on the reply card when you send out the invite. I am only allowing those who are married or in serious relationships to bring a guest. I don't want to leave it blank because I am afraid my single guest will automatically invite someone.

Re: reply cards
A friend of ours put something like this:
We have reserved 2 seats for you .......
something along that line.....just so they know there is only 2 seats....or one seat or how ever many seats they are reserving for them. She said it worked out great for them

Re: reply cards
We didnt, but I am over people deciding that they are going to do whatever they want to do! SO if they want to pretend I invited 8 of their family I will let know it meant 2

We didn't, but a lot of brides do. I felt that writing the names of the people invited should suffice, and for us it did, but other couples have had problems with people assuming they could bring guests or children, so I've seen a lot of response cards like this:
___ of ___
and you'd fill in the second blank, like ___ of _2_ or whatever.

I did mine like this, so far so good

If I could do It again I would write down the number of guest invited on the response card.
