Repost - Bridemaid Dress Delima

Hi Ladies-

I need some advice. A couple of months back I went with my MOH ( sister ) a one of my bridesmaids (FSIL) to look at dresses for the bridesmaids and my FSIL picked out a dress that she liked because she like the cut on the dress. She feels that a A line cut suits her figure better and that is fine I totally understand that. My MOH is wearing a different dress from the same designer that is little more form fitting and stylish.

So my dilemma is I don't like the dress she picked out and it is not my taste at all. So I decided that maybe me and my MOH should go back to bridal salon to pick out another dress for the bridesmaids that I like better in a A- line cut. The only reason I would not have my FSIL come is because she just had a baby a week ago. How bad is that? Do you think that I should tell her fist or just pick out another dress in a A -line cut that I feel more comfortable about?

Tell her first that youre going to look for another dress in A line cut that everyone will like and that everyne will agree on. Why don't you liek it? If you feel it doens't match your bridal gown well, that's a really good excuse. I'd tell her first

In all fairness...it is your wedding and I understand that your BM's should feel comfortable in the dress that you choose but if you don't like the one she picked out...change it...

I would go with your MOH to look at other style dresses in the same cut that she felt comfortable in...if you end up finding one that you like much better, then tell her that you prefer this dress over the one she picked...she shouldn't have a problem with it...just remember its your wedding...good luck
