Has anyone heard of this? I'm having problems finding a big enough strapless bra and I remember seeing an alteration price for 'bra' while trying on dresses. Thinking this means they insert a bra into your dress.
Is this primarily for someone with maybe smaller chest who doesn't need support?

ugh, my dress doesn't have anything like that. it's just straight accross type material -we know a really good dress maker, maybe she can help.

Yeah def ask the dress maker, they know how to put things in and take things out. They can prob make an incision to put padding in or they can just stich them in

My dress will have pads sewn in and it already had a built in slip.

i think it is also a better advantage because the bult in bra gives a nice lift to the girls (no matter what size you are) and you dont have to wear a corset if you dont want to (i hate wearing corsets I cant breathe in them) that is just my opinion

Have you heard of Mary's Corsettiere in Plainview, they will definitely have a strapless bra to fit you and they will alter it to fit you perfectly!

when I ordered my dress they asked me if I wanted a built in bra in my dress .. I got it, and loove it! it fits perfectly and I don't have those lines you sometimes get when you get those a-line bras!

hmm not sure, im a D cup and although they always say oh it holds you up perfect, it really doesnt and ive tried all those things but honestly unless its a good thick wire on the bottom and goes all around very well then its not doing anything for me, it will at first but then no doesnt do a great job lol...im probably gonna get a long line bra, im gonna go to that bra store in the city and get one.

Don't worry, same here. When I tried the dress on, they said they'd pad me and give me cleavage. They have a tough job ahead of them

yeah plus have you noticed that built in cups will always have padding, and i dont want padding lol and it makes them look weird with padding if youre already big

That ALWAYS frustrates me! Why do they make bras etc. for larger sizes w/ padding? Like I need that mess! I understand a bit for support but sometimes it's like wearing a pillow on your chest! Maybe i'll just get a long line bra b/c I hate strapless. The boob weight always makes them slide IMO
