I used to try to wear contacts five years ago but couldn't do it, had problems with my eyes, and had to stop. Now, five years later, i want contacts, mostly for the wedding. My doctor told me the problems I am having may be from dry eyes. That is why I can't wear them. Does anyone else have those problems? What do you do to solve it?

I use prescription drops for my dye eye and I wear contacts too. Just can't sleep in them ever and I need to replace them frequently. FM for prescrition.

i started to wear Acuve Hydraclear & they are amazing...I sit in front of the computer 8 hours a day & my eyes were always drying out with the other brands I used.....Ever since I started wearing the new ones (august) I haven't had a problem & can only rave!

You may have an allergic reaction to the solutions that clean the lenses. I would use daily disposables.

I wear disposable contacts. I think those would be the best ones for you. You also could carry around eye drops so when or if your eyes get dry you just put in a few drops.

I have it too, and i believe the toric lenses are available in the lenses for dry eyes.

That is what I am getting. The toric lenses. I didn't realize they come for dry eyes. My doc didn't tell me.!
