I got my 2 tier veil today and thought I would use the top layer as my blusher (although I really didn't want to use one), and long story short, I don't like the way it looks over my face. Has anyone else felt that way? Do you think it's a must do?

surprisingly, I waited until I was walking into the church to decide. My little neice said, 'Aunt Susan, don't forget to put your veil over your face'

And, I realized at that moment that I didn't want to.

Definitely not a must, entirely up to you. I did wear a blusher because I like the romantic look it gives the bride. But it's totally your choice!

It's entirely up to you whether you wear one or not-I haven't made up my mind yet

I did, b/c it's a significant part of a Jewish wedding ceremony, but it's certainly not a necessity.

I didn't wear a blusher, because it just wasn't 'me' But I do love the way it looks on other brides

Either way is fine IMO

I think it depends on you. I'm not having a very traditional wedding, so I probably won't wear the blusher.

I deceided against it for two reasons not that Im blind without them but Im not wearing glasses that day so I really dont want to be looking through anything and two Im afraid it wont be fixed right and it'll be sticking up in the pics.

I didn't -- many brides are opting not to these days...it depends on how 'traditional' you want to be

I didn't have one because my hair was too high and it looked funny. My wedding was very traditional except that. No one even noticed in the end.

I think it depends on the ceremony you are having. In jewish ceremonies, you must wear a blusher. I don't believe the same is true at catholic ceremonies.

As of right now, I say yes. I love that romantic feel. But I may change my mind. I have seen brides with and without and I like both.

you don't have to, but i want to b/c i like the idea of my fiance lifting the blusher up for the kiss.

I got a two tiered veil with the thought of using one tier as a blusher but just never did and it was fine. Actually I am glad I did things the way I did!

I hate blushers...i want my FH to see my smiling face when i walk down the aisle...not have it hidden under tulle!
