I was just wondering if anyone had a place that does alterations really well? We got the girls dresses at Bridal Suite of Centereach as well as the dresses for a friend's wedding and we didn't like how the alterations came out. I would like to be able to send my girls to a place that does a good job and is reliable. TIA!!

Try Charmet Bridal on Bell Blvd. in Bayside. My friend had her wedding dress altered there and it came out great. The number is (718) 229-6964.

I know a great place in Setauket...it is a tiny little place that does excellent work!

It is on 25A right in Setauket... near the Country Riding Shop the entrance is under the stairwell on the side of the building... they do great stuff!!! You need an appt to bring gowns in... I hope this helps!!!
