REPOST FROM '05 Brides....Went BM dress shopping today... WITH POLL - Help please!

Sorry for the repost...

Do you like this dress? I went BM dress shoppin with My MOH and FSIL (1 of my BMs). We fell in love with the dress!

When I came home and showed FH... he said he doesn't like it. That its not formal

It is a pretty dress......but it doesn't send a wedding vibe out to me.

I love it, I think its so cute and elegant. What color are you doing? The color shown is cute.
Once he sees it with the flowers and the BM's hair and jewelry he'd probably think differently.

It's cute and very summery looking. It's hard to see the color in that pic but pistachio sounds really nice.

I think it is a pretty dress for a daytime or garden wedding. It is definitely not a Carlyle worthy, formal evening type of dress to me.

Galina- are those Lazaro dresses??

I really like either one of them-- I think you should go with whichever you like best-- afterall- what do the boys know??

I think the second one is more formal looking- but I do love the look of the plaid dress.. Something very 'smart looking' about it.

They are Jim Hjelm. I know the second one really looks like Lazaro.

I prefer the second one for an evening wedding, but I love the first one too. Honestly, don't worry about any of our opinions because they're just that, 'opinions.' If you love the first dress, than that's what you should get.
