Should these be included in the invitation?? If so, do you just give the most direct route or pretty much from each major parkway?

Yes, they should be included. And we did from major points (Queens, Brooklyn, LI, Bronx) to the church. Definitely important.

Im not sure..my friend didnt include directions to the church and noone complained that I know of. I didnt include directions just a small map that shows where the church is and address..they have a direction card to CLM and it is literally on the same road so people wont get lost!! hopefully if your church is far away i would say get some made to be on the safe side just from each parkway...

Did you get a little booklet when you booked the church with all the rules and regulations? they mught give you the directions in there that just have to be resized (or re-typed). I know in our little booklet they are on the back cover. check before you go crazy trying to write the directions (I know it takes me forever to give people directions)

you should absolutely put directions in the invite IMO- i have been to 3 weddings in the last few months and they didnt have directions, so we go to mapquest and get them, well mapquest isnt always right and many older folk may not use or know how to use mapquest etc...thats annoying, it would be just as easy to not confuse guests, it was frustrating...especially for out of staters...

I didn't even think of that. That is so important.
