REPOST FROM 05 - My Save the Dates - with Pic!

I'm so proud of them, I brought them up here from 05.

The idea is that it resembles a movie poster.

It's a real pic of the balcony at Raphael overlooing the vineyard.

FH did it - he is so damn talented, I wish he knew it.

I want to make it bigger, I do not think it translates this small (business card size magnet) - I think making it twice the size will work - but I will have to cut out 75 of them by hand if I do that.

I supoose the question becomes - Does it translate as a movie promo in this size??

Thank You ladies! I feel great about them, I think our fam and friends will really like them. I originally wanted to do a pic of us, but felt a little unconfortable about having my mug on 100 refrigerators for the next 8 months!

I guess it does work in this size - God knows it will be easier to just run them off on business card sized magnet paper.

I love the picture - they look great. But, I don't get a movie poster feeling from it. I feel like the 'not yet rated' comment is the only thing movie poster about it.

Your names look great as the 'stars' of the day, the film not rated is a great addition, maybe the title would give it the feeling you want.

The picture is great and I like the fonts you used. It will be beautiful and unique whether people get the movie poster idea or not! You really can't go wrong!

September Bride - you rock.

I got some feedback from people at work today and they said the same thing. A movie poster needs a title! I think we are going to extend the bottom, make a bunch of icons down there (e.g. IFC Films...etc) and then give it a kick *** title. I am thinking the title of the movie should be 'SAVE THE DATE' but I really like Dreams come true as well. One of our fave quotes is 'And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.' But thats too long...
