Repost from 05- Question about Searching a topic/ thread

how come when i search certain topics (even when i try all different spellings), threads don't come up that relate to that topic??

I've searched threads that I even wrote, and nothing came up. Am i missing something?

Happens to me ALL the time. Try searching w/.o a subject for posts that you made (if it was a post you made or replied to) and the board, and maybe a rnge of dates and look through it that way. Frustrating, isn't it?

it is so frustrating!! I hate posting something thats already been posted (especially if recently), but i feel like i can never find what i'm looking for (and i'm usually good with searches in general)

I totally agree - the search function is not that good. And it's really annoying when people post a comment like, 'why don't you do a search for it?' I try and sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't!!
