Repost from 06 - Need Slip help...

When I was fitted, I wore an A-line slip under my dress. My salon called it a standard A-line slip (it looks like I belong in the 1800's when I have it on with my long-line bra - like all I need is a parisol-LOL). Well, I am trying to find it cheaper, so my BM & I stopped by David's Bridal. The woman had no idea what I was talking about...'You want what- what is a A-line slip...you mean crinloine? How much crinoline?'

Now, I am so confused

Am I asking for it right???

The bridal salon I ordered my dress from called imy slip a 'full slip.' My dress has an A-line skirt and is full but not poofy...is that what you think you need?

I have no idea

The girl called it a standard A-line slip. So full - is not ballroom then?

Well the lady told me that I need a 'full slip' and that there's also something called a 'mega slip'
The full slip looked like an a-line skirt
ETA: Each salon must have their own language when it comes to this stuff...its so confusing!
