We went to Pedestals on Saturday to see our sample. I have to state that Robert is wonderful and we have had nothing but a great experience with Pedestals. That said, we aren't in love with our sample and aren't sure what to do. We made some changes while we were there, for example all roses will now be red, additional flowers will be added, etc. etc. However my FH is still not happy with the CP and I can't say that I love it either. We will be calling Robert tomorrow to discuss our options further, but would love some honest input on what you guys think about the CP.
The CP is different from the original CP we chose. The reason Robert made the changes are because the new sample is able to be used on top of pedestals along the aisle for the ceremony, however the original is actually in the glass vase and cannot be used for the ceremony.
After we left pedestals, I suggested to my FH that maybe we have half of the CP's made the orignal way and the other half of the CP's made like the sample, so I guess that is an option, but we are still not thrilled.
I don't know if I am getting myself crazy for no reason. I do know that I am already over budget and can't afford to put even more flowers in the CPs. The other thing is I need around 25 of them (wedding is 250-300 people) so all changes are big $$$.
Sorry to ramble on I am just a little frustrated!

The first picture is a bad pic with my phone camera but is what we originally selected. The other pics are the sample we saw this weekend.

i think you cp is gorgeous, but if you are not happy, then I would go back and see what some other options are. I personally like the first picture (and sample) the best.
You guys are paying a ton of money and should be thrilled with what you have! I used Pedestals too - you are in wonderful hands - just express your concerns. Don't be afraid!

My FH really isn't happy because the new sample has too much greenery. The original CP didn't have any...so I guess it just wasn't what we were expecting.

Thank you! I really appreciate your input. I think we really like the first cp also...that is why we chose it, lol. Just have to find a happy medium I guess so that we can use them for both the ceremony and the reception. I am def going to voice my concerns.

Your sample cps are gorgous but I agree also that their is too much greenery. I def think you should speak to Robert about the changes that you want. I mean thats the reason why they make sample cp's for you!!! HTH

I think the sample is nice, but I agree that there is too much greenery. Also not sure what color scheme you are going for, but I think adding some more color to the CP would be nice too.
If you're not happy for whatever reason, tell them and they should be willing to work with you. Also the size of your CP is pretty big, maybe if they tighten it and take out some of the greens, it will be a bit smaller in size but I think it would look nicer w/ the flowers knit closer together and you wouldnt have to add more flowers and spend more $$.

Honestly, I really like the first one. I think it is very elegant looking but if you're not happy with it you need to find something you really love. You're paying way too much money to think your centerpieces are just okay.

They're both pretty, but I see what you're saying about all the greenery being more in the2nd one. Are the other flowers calla lillies?

they are both nice but 2 totally different looks I used Pedestals and changed my mind like 3 times my final sample is in my album, I have seen the work they do with calla lillies and it is amazing so call up and express all your concerns and email pictures of what you like and have them make you a new sample, when I went to see my sample they had one that was on top of a tall vase and it had calla lilles coming out tall and then taround the base of the vase were hydrangeas and it was amazing so I know if you express your thoughts they will come up with something you like....by they way how is your dog?

I think they are nice however, if you are set on the first pic.. I agree it's def more busy than the first one.... there's more flowers in these (which some people ask for) but the first one is more elegant looking (IMO).
Let them know they are nice, but you really want it to look more like the 1st pic.....

I really like the first pic because of the buds on the willow branches. The second two are pretty, but there is something about them that looks off to my eye. I think they would look better without the lilies and with another flower or with just the lilies and branches.

i really love your sample, i think they are both nice, but IMO they look like very different pieces, i understand what you are saying about too much greenery if you do not like that...honestly you should just showw him the pic of the sample and explain to him that it doesnt look the same..itll work out dont stress!

For those who commented on the fact that the 2 pieces are very different, do you think that they are so different that if we did 13 of one and 13 of the other it wouldn't look good?
