If you invited 260 people or around that to the wedding, what was percentage of guest that did not come?
I thought there was something about that (like a myth)....
Can someone help me?

We invited 210 for our wedding & had 168 show. They tell you to think that there will be a 20% decline rate.

We invited 265 and ended up with a little over 200. Then again, alot of people we did invite were people overseas that we KNEW wasn't going to go, but had to send an invite to anyway. Also, it was the end of the summer & alot of people were on vacation.

we invited 289 and had a final # of 225 - and than 4 ppl didnt show up on the day of the wedding.

a lot of people say that you should expect about 20% to reply NO.
i have seen and experience this NOT to be true. every wedding is different.
but for the sake of argument: we invited 92; we had 82 people at our wedding (including bride and groom).

We invited 250 and we had 160. You'd think it would be the out of towners who didnt want to come to NY in the dead of winter. We had people from as far as Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and Malibu come.
