Repost from '07: Tanning Help!

Unfortunately, I did not manage to avoid getting tan lines this summer as I had planned. Now my wedding is 4 weeks away & I'm wearing a strapless dress. I've never been tanning before., but my skin naturally tans pretty easily. I don't mind getting a little darker, but I'm not looking to go to get darker, I reallly just want to even my skin tone out. So for you ladies who are experienced with tanning, how do I go about doing this so I can even out my skin without changing my color too drastically? Any recs on where would be best to go? I live in Levittown.

I would defnitely reccommend going tanning ALOT before the wedding.... maybe like 4x a week at least.
Hollywood Tans.....Theres one right in Bethpage by the DMV on Hempstead Tpke. They're great there & they have reasonable packages.
I don't trust any other places.
I also recommend tanning w/ nothing on. so you don't get any tan lines whatsoever.

When I was in law school, I went to Beach Bum Tanning in East Meadow, on Hempstead Tpke...however, if I were you, I would look into having a tan applied to you the day before professionally-they can make sure that it comes out perfect and with tanning, you do risk that everything else will get dark while your tan lines will burn
