So...I always have loved these lillies...but I also pictured them on the beach somewhere....tropical.
Far from Russos'......so...that being said...do you think white casablanca lillies will look to tropical or summery for a September wedding?
I love those dang flowers...however, I don't even know what season they are in.....anyone?
Any suggestions, ideas or input..thanks ladies

Re: Repost from 07-White Casablanca Lilies
Those are my favorite of all the lilies. I think they are a spring flower however, and would be $$$ to get in September. I don't think they're too tropical at all, but they are (as you know) very fragrant. I don't know that I would use them in a CP because of the fragrance mixing with the odor of food (or the potential allergies of the guests).

Thank you

lillies are readilly available and i don't think they look too tropical at all. i think lilies, like roses, can go in any season. it just depends on the arrangement. like if you're worried about it looking to tropical, don't use orchids.
but the fragrance is powerful. make sure that your florist cuts out their pollen stems or you're going to have a lot of sneezy, teary-eyed people.
good thing i'm not invited to your wedding - my allergies would go crazy in a room full of casablanca lillies... ;)
