Repost from 08: Bachelorette - where to go in the City w/ moms, etc.?

Hi girls,

Would love your advice - some of the girlfriends of FH's guy friends (if you followed that) wanted to go out for a bachelorette party, but there will be older women (FMIL, etc.) for at least some of the time.

Anyone have any recommendations for where we could go and not have trouble getting in? The girls have recommended 'nice and classy cocktail lounge' to start, then maybe somewhere 'chic and cool' so we can dress up girly (pretty much exact quotes).

for my friends bachelorette party we went to the awsome 80s prom in webster hall. it was amazing! we had an amazing time, sooooo much fun. i dont know of any cocktail loungey places but i would highly reccomend looking into the 80's prom.
