Can anyone recommend a place that does eyebrow threading near Island Park/Long Beach (south Nassau)?

I know of place but its in Queens ,, I think they have other ones I Think its called Rani,,,not sure.. ???

this place Rani is also across from the Source mall. they're amazing!!!!!!!! when i used to live in NY i drove all the way there to get my brows done!!!

There a good place called PoonJa's on Gardners Ave in Levittown i have been going there for 3 years now, there is also a good place on old country road in westbury close to hicksville road-but i can't remember the name

I think I responded to this on the '08 board too, haha. Rani's is good - they're a chain with quite a few locations. But none over by Long Beach/Island Park. I'd recommend checking the one out in Westbury across from The Source Mall if you happen to be over there shopping one day.

There's a place in Hisckville on the corner of Old Country and 107- it's accross the street from Walgreens. I heard they do a great job.

I think I know which one your talking about in Huntington; its a salon, right? I think a new one did just open in Commack area, but my sister went and said it wasn't as good. There are actually 2 on Jericho in Huntington; the one in a shopping center with Dunkin Donuts is the one I go to.

Threading is where they remove the stray eyebrow hair using threads. They use two lines of thread that remove the hair. It is PAINFUL but there is no redness or waxy residue which is good. You get used to is after a while.

I don't think it hurts. I like it much better than waxing.
