Repost from 08 Parent's names

Is it really bad if i printed my parent's names as

mr. john and mrs. mary smith

i changed it last minute from the regual way 'mr and mrs john smith' now i wish i didnt .....

to make it worse its already printed

i think ti's fine, but i would have done

Mr. and Mrs. John and Mary Smith

To me, saying Mr. John insinuates that John is his last name --it breaks it up too much.
