i'm having my make up done at the MAC at bloomie's tomorrow for my b-pics. do i leave a tip? this is my first time having make up done at a dept store, so i wasn't sure what the norm is. TIA!!

I have a make up trial with a girl at nordstroms in a week and it is free but I am going to tip her anyway for her time.

at the mac counter i think you have to make a $40 purchase in order for them to do your makeup.. i'd give her a tip because buying the product doesn't give her much.. and most of them are really sweet to go above and beyond.. jmo..

I am a Mac fan!!! You've to purchase atleast 5 product to have your face done. No, You do not have to tip. I do not think they are allowed to take anything.

i dont think theyre allowed to accept tips actually. you just have to make a $40 purchase of their makeup. my friend had her makeup done their before and i dont think they took the tip she offered. not to sure though

Thank you so much!! The MAC i'm going to told me I only had to buy one item, whereas the original one I had booked said I had to buy 4 items Anyway, I plan on buying more than 1 item as I really need new make up. I thought I had heard they don't accpet tips, but I will still offer one, I think it's the right thing to do. Thanks!

Does MAC still take back MAC containers for recycling. I haven't used their stuff in a while so I don't know if they still have that program.
