Repost from 09 board - Dog Park / Good food

I hear there are a lot of 08 girls with dogs. If you are looking for something to do I highly recommend a place in the city. Today my FH and I went with our dog and had the most amazing burger (actually voted Food TV best burger in some contest). Plus, they have a frozen treat there for dogs and a great fenced in dog area. it's in Madison Square Park:

I used to walk dogs and take them to the Madision Square dog run all the time...it's a nice one! Never eaten at the Snack Shack though.

You have to eat there. The burgers are delicious and I hear their frozen custard is good. The line was NUTS though. They pride themselves in not being fast food.

You really should. There was the most adorable baby pug there. I think Petunia would be fine! It was very weird walking my dog around the city.

YAYY - so fun!

If anyone is looking for a dog place on LI - go to Coindre Hall in Huntington. It's gorgeous and you can let your dog off the leash (I'm sure you're not really supposed to, but there isn't a single person there who doesn't). My doggies loveeeeeee it and you can walk all the way down to the beach!

You totally should!!! There are also 2 or 3 picnic tables - we usually stop at a deli on the way and get sandwiches and sit and eat while our puppies run around and then we walk them down to the beach. We put them back on leashes by the water though, because they will toooooootttally go in if we don't!

My dog hates the water so I know she won't run into the water. Maybe if the weather is nice I'll check it out tomorrow. I can't believe it didn't rain today.

I know - we got really lucky with the weather today. Or, should I say the 7/28/07 brides were really lucky!!
