my dress is complicated to get into. my dad is sick and my mom is going to be helping him in addition to getting me dressed, and my maids going to be getting makeup/hair, and yesterday, it was suggested to us that we get in touch with someone who will help get me all into the dress and ready that day, a pro that worked in a shop. It wasn't expensive, and my mom was very into the idea. Only, now I'm not sure the woman is available b/c she's not getting back to me. Does anyone know if another 'dresser' exists, if this is even a thing that people do? I don't mean to sound ridiculous and high maintenance.

Could your maid of honor and the rest of the BP help you. I know I helped my friend with her dress. We were all already done with everything else and everyone was more than willing to assist...it was super fun. So I would def ask you BP first, I am sure they would be more than willing to help :)

Why don't you try calling local bridal salons and see if anyone they know does it.
