What do you put on the STD magnet for the location, the town of the ceremony, or town of the reception, if they're different?
Or, considering that most people receiving are OOT, just Long Island, New York, since neither town will mean anything to them?
My mother says I should put: Ceremony-Greenlawn Reception- Holbrook
but I think that's way too wordy and awkward.
Thoughts?

i dont even think you have to put the town, but if you do, i would put the info for the recption hall since most people dont end up going to the church
You can just put Long Island, New York...the invitation will break down all the details anyway

We have a LOT of OOT guests, however, we didn't put the location directly on the STD. Instead we printed our website on it which has all the info there and we are enclosing a small card that says something along the lines of 'Rooms have been blocked at XXXX and XXXX in Woodbury, Long Island. Please see our wedding website for more details' and re-listed the website on that card. Our STD magnet is in my 'done it ourselves' album, but I haven't created the card yet.
