giving them out? I know most people are putting them on each table. I thought 1 per couple, but I have some people going solo too. I haven't done my seating chart yet, so they'll be mixed.
I was thinking old school, where you would hand them out at the end of the night. Usually everyone gives their 'envelope' to the couple.

I put one per couple at the table and if someone came alone they also got one. It worked out so well for us. We were able to enjoy our entire reception and not have this huge line forming with people. Some envelopes I took, DH took, my parents took and some people just put them in our card box. Some people let the favor on the tables, either they forgot or just didn't want it. I was fine with me. I have a ton left over so if they call I will be more than happy to give them 1 or 3
I say put them on the tables you will be able to enjoy much more of your wedding that way IMO

Bride, MOH & MOB gave them out in less than 5 minutes. We gave them out after dinner was served.

when I did my seating chart for the hall, I wrote how many guests would be seated there and how many favors to place at that table.
Here's an example of what I wrote for each table:
Table 5 A= 10 K= 2 F= 5 (if it was 5 couples, or 6 or 7 or whatever if there was a mix of single people).
Believe me, I think you want them to be at the table so you don't have to be bothered with handing them out.

We are attaching the seating placements to our favors, so that there's no confusion as to how many favors per couple/per person. Plus, kills two birds with one stone!

After dinner my parents are going to give them out to my side. I still have to talk to FILs to see if they will do the same. I wish I could put them on the table but they're too damn big!
