So i started making appointments with florists, but im kinda lost--when i go i know approx. how many flowers i need, but i've heard a lot about samples--are these done before or after i book? will they show me centerpieces they have made? what should i expect at a meeting?
also, if they make me a sample, do i go back for that? do i only have them make one if i am interested? do they just make a centerpiece or a bok as well? do i get charged for them?
sorry i have so many questions!!

Don't worry. All you need is the number of people you are inviting, maybe a couple of pics of what your interested in, how many BP members, etc. They have pics and they can totally put together some ideas for you. But make sure the first thing you mention is the budget. Otherwise, you may get excited about flowers that you can't afford.
Talk to you florist about samples and stuff. Mine is doing my samples (cp and boqs) until they get it right.

I looked at pictures they florist had and from there we figured out what I like. Next year, a few months before the wedding I'll get a sample CP. He said he would re-do it as many times as it needed to be re-done. Most florists will give you a sample for free (after you book).

most florists will figure out how many tables you need by how many guests you are inviting (so 120 people with 10 to a table, 12 tables) bring some pics of things you like so they get a general idea of what u are looking for. most florists show u pics of things they have done. my florist did a sample b4 we booked but most do it afterwards. also ask of tax and delivery fees...most will take the tax off if u pay cash.
