For anyone that used Phyllis or plans to, can you tell me how the whole thing works? What is the process? Do you just provide her with meausrements or do you provide her with sizes and then wait for everything to come in?

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I knew what dresses I wanted. I found my gown elsewhere but she beat the price. She didn't have a sample to try on, but I went in and got measured and she ordered it. Same thing with my girls' dresses - she measured them all, we gave her the style # and she ordered. My gown came in about a month ago and I just tried it on - it's perfect! The BM dresses are due in at the end of may. She just moved into a new store, Bridal Elegance, in Dix Hills. I recommend her!

Thanks for the info! I am definitely ordering my BM dresses from her but several of my BMs are OOT so they woudn't eb able to go there to be measured. I emailed phyllis so I will see what she says.

I'm sure she can just tell you what measurements she needs for that particular designer. She told me what to measure on my flower girl, and my mom did it cause she's from OOT, too, and it seems like it worked out okay...

One of my girls was in Texas & she just sent in her measurements & Phyllis ordered the correct size based on the designer.

She's great & has excellent prices

2 of my girls called in their measurements. All they need to do is go to a local tailor or dry cleaner and have them take proper measurements. Phyllis is great!

Thanks ladies for all the responses. I am just waiting to hear from Phyllis on eactly which measurements to tell teh girls to get (i.e. bust, hips etc).
