I have a dilemma, I already picked out my bridesmaid dresses which are chocoloate, FH told me that he wants the GM to wear silver/gray vests under their tuxedos. I dont think that is going to go with my girls dresses. I dont want to change my girls dresses and he just said to me ' I don't ask for much' which is true so I am torn on what to do???? Someone help me please.

when it comes to the fashion of the night.....BRIDE RULES. Bride chooses her BM dresses and GM tuxes. THATS IT. If its a major objection (ie: Pink or purple) then FH has a point. BUt in this case, YOU as the bride choose. ITS THAT SIMPLE.

PERHAPS just explain to him how it will not go. ANd how slver is tacky (its not....but if you tell him it is, he'll believe you.) Let him pick out other stuff.....like menu options and songs. Fashion for the eveining is your decision

I agree. Brides choose bridesmaid colors and then the GM's follow the scheme...never the other way around...just try and explain that to him...

Thanks girls for all of your advise on my dress issue, this morning I went to Macys bridal and saw another dress in black and silver that I love and when I spoke to my MOH she said she would like that better than the chocolate I also found my flowergirls dress in black and white. So I am happy that this happened because I found dresses that I love and now everyone is happy. I know I dont post on here alot but you girls are great and I appreciate all of your help, I am so glad that I found LIW.
