I'm thinking of meeting with florists next time I'm in NY which will be January. Is that too soon to meet with florists for a Sept 2007 wedding? Do I need to know what colors and flowers I want when I meet with the florists? Or is that something I can decide after I've booked someone?

am getting married and have booked my florist already (flower michele). You need a rough idea of how many people is in your BP as well as have an idea what direction you want to go in (low vs high cp's). A good florist will have pics of samples as well as make suggestions to help you.

I've booked already also (Designs By Rose). It's never too early to book your vendors. If you wait until 2007 their prices are definitely going to go up.

you could change your mind with flowers and colors you could just give them a rough idea like high or low CP and clutch or cascading Bok and how many BM's and stuff like that to book it up now to keep the price low
