Does anyone know if getting ordained online is legal in NY? We would love to have our friend get ordained and perform the ceremony.

I looked up online who can marry us, but it is a little unclear about the online ministry.

I would possibly call the place where you get you marriage license and ask them. I know when you go to get it they give you a list of j.o.p, etc. so maybe they would know all the legal stuff with the online ordained things.
