REPOST from BHB- Photogs..Baffled by their pricing...how much are we paying for a 'NAME'

I sent a few different photog vendors the EXACT package request and asked for a quote for the work. It is amazing to me the difference in quotes for photogs doing the SAME work.....I just don't get it!

500-600 4 x 6 color, B & W, and sepia photos
proof album
ALL negatives
photo cd
2 8 x 10 photos
9-10 hours of work.

Thomas Paul- $1600
K &J- $1200
Artisan- $2500 (approx)
Dan Wagner- $2000

I know there are other factors, but not, IMHO, enough to warrant such a discrepancy!

I Know CoxMandi answered and she has a point, but all things being relatively equal- it just doesn't seem right....I mean...$1300 betw. lowest and highest....

well im paying 4000.00 for my photo
thats is not including video

sounds like you got good prices to me lolol
