Repost from BHB: Sandals Cancellation Policy?

I know for sure that Sandals lets you cancel up to 46 days prior with no penalty fees or anything and I'm pretty sure you can get whatever you paid back but I just wanted to check on the cashback. I know I wouldve asked this before I booked since it was so early but I cant remember, can any of you ladies tell me for sure? Also, if anyone has done this, and you DO get you cashback refund on your card, how long does it take to show?


we've only paid the $400 deposit

I could be wrong but I thought unless you buy the travel insuranec you can't get money back? Again I might be wrong don't take my word for it, but that is why we bought the insurance incase we need to cancel for any unforeseen reason.....

I kind of feel the same way, but again am not 100% sure. We got the traveler's insurance so that we can literally cancel the day before and I think you can get everything back except maybe the deposit, I don't even know the exact rules for the insurance. Did you get the insurance too, Lorin?

ok update: yes, i can get the $400 back. I was pretty sure of this since I wasnt positive that I wanted to do this HM. Well anyway, this is good news for girls who want to book and take advantage of the sale if they are concerned that it might end...that's why i booked. fYI- they said it only takes about a week to go back on your card
