Repost from BHB Since I really want to find this dress!!!!!

Ok girls I just went tonight and I found a dress I LOVE. It is an Amelia Carrara. I looked at the Eve of Milady website and can't find the dress.

I went to bridal reflections in Carle Place and met with Debbie (she was WONDERFUL I recommend her you will have a great experience)

The tag said CS4779 (if that helps) I couldn't get a picture of it though.

It was a strapless, box pleat, ball gown, with a dropped waist. It had some beading at the top and a bow with a sash with the beading on the end of the sash. It was a cathdral train. In I think dutchess satin - we looked at the tag it was 100% satin.

It was an elegant and gorgeous dress - and I want to know if anyone has this dress or a picture of it, and if anyone can tell me anything about amelia carrara.

The girls around when I was in the mirror were telling me they LOVE the dress.

I am going to look around some more of course but I think it could be the one!

Hi Christine!! My dress is an Amalia Carrara and I must say they have the most intricate and beautiful beading I have ever seen!! The dress you describe sounds gorgeous but doesn't ring a bell. I have a little hint though- my dress was $900 more at Bridal Reflections than Kleinfeld, so definitely check out Kleinfeld if you decide it's the one! Ask for Nanette-she was amazing!!!

Try www.celestialbrides.com They have a link to the Amelia Carrara line. All of the dresses were amazing. Please post if you find THE ONE!!! Good Luck.

Thank you you don't have a pic of your dress do you? - You think it would be cheaper than 2600 at kleinfelds? I have an apt there on the 31st

Hi Rob-luvs-me-

Unfortunately I can't help with the dress search. Try emailing the designer. It may be part of a new line not posted yet. That is the situation with my gown. I had an awesome experience at BR also!! Just an FYI too - not sure where you live and if Kleinfelds is far out of the way, but my friend also found her dress for about $500 cheaper at Kleinfelds and was able to have BR match the price. Just an idea!!

They tell me it is a 'new' but not brand new dress - so it has been there for a little while.

I am going to Kleinfelds on the 31st - so I hope it will be there. I already emailed the designer to see if they could send me a picture and make sure since I can't find it anywhere that it won't be discontinued anytime soon.

They usually get pics of gowns as soon as they come out... if it is a newer dress.
(Same thing happened to me... I almost died when I finally found the pic)

Apparently it is a new but not brand new gown they have had it for a few months she said.

My gown is also amalia carrara, got it in Kleinfelds for 500 cheaper than Bridal Reflections. But to help you a bit, try www.belles-beaus.com it isnt a new york company but they have a lot of pics of the amalia's. hope that helps.
