Repost from BHB, Terrible things FMIL Taught FH

FH and I went to lunch today and I told him the things I would like to kill his mother for teaching him...

Here they are:

(1) To just 'sleep it off' when he feels sick, not to take medicine. (Now I get to listen to him moan about how he is dying while he refuses to do anything about it)

(2) To fold his socks rather than roll them into a ball (OK, this one does show my anal retentive side, but it really also makes the drawer a mess!!!)

AND THE WORST!!!

(3) To blow his nose in the shower to remove all pollen, allergy inducing microbes, etc. (SOOOOOOO GROSS....and the sound that accompanies this....truly disgusting!!!)

Come on girls, I know everyone has some of these....!!!!

I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but she taught him to put mayonnaise in mashed potatoes. I don't have anything against mayo on a sandwich, but I don't want it in my potatoes!

I guess to put ketchup on everything and oh not to celebrate birthdays and christmas. HE does now thanks to me, but the boy never had his own birthday party. How sad.

Ewwww Mine does it too! It makes my stomach turn to think about it. Men are just so gross! The sound ...everytime I cringe!

I think his father taught him through not FMIL

When my FH does it, the sound is something like a cat having the worst hairball of its life...

The first couple of times I heard it it made me so nauseous! Now, it still disgusts me, but not to the point of throwing up!

FMIL taught him that it's ok to go sit down after dinner and let all the girls clean up and do the dishes!!! But not to worry, I'll fix that one!

Oh yeah, he blows his nose in the shower too!

mine got the fear of taking medicine thing too... SOOO annoying to listen to him hacking up a lung and not want to take anything for it!
also... she taught him never to throw anything away! i kid you not... the women has plastic grocery bags from 4 years ago! and hes the same way! GRR!! but i gave him fair warning that when we move into our house, i'm not gonna live in clutter like that... so hes already starting to go through his stuff- LOL
OH! and... she also gave him this REALLY bad fear of eating cake, candy, and anything sweet... NOT COOL cause i have a major sweet tooth.... but i've been baking for him and hes starting to come around- LOL
