Repost from BHB- Weird q but need help asap (NWR)

I have to go to this thing for English Grad Students in 2 hours and I need to bring a 'poem or piece of prose about academia.'

Any suggestions???

It can't be too long, because I need to copy it in handwriting from the comp, b/c my printer is messed up.

TIA

That's pretty weird. Are you an English grad student? If so, where?

I found this poem; it might suit your purpose:

Another one, not about academia, but tenureship is very good:

Good luck!

Thanks so much-- they wound up not even asking us to read the poems

Yep, I'm getting my MA in English & American Lit @ Hofstra
