So I have been looking for wording for my Engagement party Invitations. I didnt find anything I likes, so I decided to write my own. Ladies, please tell me what you think. A lil background, me and Fh have been together for 7 years. We have been around eachothers familes a million times, so here goes:

You have watched our love grow
You have always been there
Please join us for our Engagement Party
To show how much you care
So many memories we have, so many more to come. We hope that you will be there to share in all the fun!

I was thinking of doing something at the engagement party on the tables with 7s...like favors of lucky 7s scratch offs with a penny in an envelope.

I really like your idea of something like taht for the invitations though too....I think you just gave me an idea...THANKS!!!

Yeah- think of it as a downpayment on gifts at the RECEPTION....

Cute! I like it. I'm not sure if mine is too long.. I will find out when I pick an invitation. If I do one with a front cover, then i can put half the paom on the front.

BTW, did anyone do RSVP cards for the engagement party. Im not sure what to do...

my friend did...and i didnt...

i wish i would have...bc i feel like some peeps are just like...telling someone to call another to tell us that they are coming instead of calling directly.

like FH had to call some of his immediate fam and were like ummm are u coming?

so i think rsvp cards are better...it makes them make the decision on the spot bc well...they are stamped already

You can always go to Michaels and print out your own invites....but make sure you have a good printer!!! Otherwise they're going to look like you did em yourself.

My MOH did it for her eparty and they came out AWESOME!!!!

Plus its ur party...put whatever u want on it!
