repost from BHB'S -When should I mail my invites?

I dont knwo what to do thanks to Christmas! LOL

The middle of DEc. would have been our choice, but we are afraid they will get lost in the mail, mixed in with cards, thrown out etc.

The 10th of Dec would make it 8 weeks till RSVP date

and Dec 30th makes it 5 weeks till RSVP date

VOTE PLEASE on what you would do.

i guess i would just do it after the 30th

I said Dec 10- because some people tend to take their time letting you know if they'll be there- this way you'll have plenty of time to make phone calls if need be and give the final head cound to the caterer.

i would send them out on the 30th - less likely to get lost in the mail, and i think people might put it aside (and possibly forget about mailing the response) because everyone is so busy before the holidays.
