I dont think it's right to do donations as favors - if ppl want to donate, they'll do it on their own - when ppl go to a wedding, they want to get something HELLO it is 2007 and umm, half the stuff I get at weddings I throw out or collects dust & plus I'm doing it in memory of family members

oh wow. I could go on and on. I will be engaged 1.5 years when I get married, and people always tell me that's long ... and I'm like, 'everyone I know has been engaged for at least a year.' It's not long ... and what do they care????????
My sister is driving me nuts with her comments on our choice of band (almost booked). It's relatively inexpensive for a band, but she got a dj and doesn't see the need for a band. To her, other things were important ... to me, the band and food is. I wouldn't have spent half the money she did on some things ... just different strokes for different folks ....

My FH has some psycho cousins from out of state(that I've never met) comined they have 14 kids. I am only having the children in my wedding party at Engagement party and Wedding. One of them calls FMIL and bitches, FMIL says I am getting a babysitter for all the kids. The other sister writes me on Myspace and says, is it true NO KIDS?!?! Well I can't miss cousins wedding because I have kids ya know? I explained the babysitter thing. Then she writes, well I didn't receive an invite for engagement party, but I wouldn't be able to get off work anyways. Next day she writes, I got my invite, are kids not allowed there too, because my baby is still breast feeding and I can't leave her with a babysitter! HELLO YOU ALREADY TOLD ME YOU COULDN'T COME YESTERDAY!!! CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY!

You're having flower centerpieces and your budget is $2000? Can you afford that?? Don't you think its waste? I mean the flowers all die, etc.
Mind you, this woman had all callas for HER wedding 8 years ago and spent about $6000 in total for flowers.
And I'm being extravagant???
