Repost from Newly board - HELP with Bachelor party please !!!

Len's Grooms Party are a bunch of boring do-dos.
Our wedding is in 24 days and they still haven't come up with a decent bachelor party for my man.

My brother (a GM) just broke the news to me. He asked me what kind of stupid, boring friends (and cheap) friends does Len have ?
He said he's willing to head everything up for a good bachelor party and for me to give him ideas. He'll be sure NOT to tell the guys the ideas came from me

So..................... HELP !!!!!!!
What did your husbands/fiancees do for theirs?
Any ideas?

Strippers NOT included, please

How about dinner at a great steak house- Dylan's Prime on Laight is supposed to be the hip place to go.

My FH's friends are taking him camping and white-water rafting in Virginia somewhere for the weekend....

He's an outdoor freak and loved that kind of stuff!

A friend of mine went to Peter Lugers for steaks - but that is pricey....

How about a day party? Skydiving, Rockclimbing, or something Extreme?

What about paintball?

How about they kidnap Len and take him out??

Liz, please tell us what some of Len's interests are.

I feel like I will be going through this as well. my guy's friends/ brothers are sooo darn cheap.

no strippers here! Chris and his GMs and a few buddies (plus the dads) played poker and smoked cigars (out on the deck) and drank margaritas (not too much)
they had a blast, and plus, even though they spent money, it stayed within the group, rather than going to a bar or stripper!!

don't know if Len likes cards, but they had a good time (plus, it was good clean fun!).

PS- the bridesmaids 'crashed' the party, by dressing up my boy dog in lingerie and sending him in as the 'entertainment.' i didn't want to do it, but it was pretty funny. our dog had no idea, he just liked getting all the attention!!

Does Len golf? My Fh wants a day of golfing at a nice course and dinner at a good steak house. And then drinks, he says no strippers but i dont belive him it doesnt bother me and he knows that but he swears he just dosesnt want them... we'll see when the time comes!!

Ideally i want my FI's night to be good old guy fun. They can drink, party and scratch themsleves Can they go to a bar or nightclub???

how about a guys day of doing fun guy stuff.

they hit a video arcade (like gillian's), then a nice hamburger and fries dinner, followed by a game of bowling.

FH was taken to Mohegan Sun for golf, dinner and gambling (and whatever else he didn't tell me about) Anyway - he had a great time

My fi is going to Vegas in two weeks with 6 guys. They are going to have some decent fun of bar hopping at stripper bars for 3 days. I'm so excited for him...yeah right.

My DH's friends rented a hotel room and hired strippers. Then they hit the clubs. My dad went and had a good time.

OK, I will help a little here.

So far the sports thing sounds great, Len likes Basketballs, the Knicks or the Nets, if his boys aren't too cheap. If they are, maybe my brother can take him to the game and then to the party or bar or whatever

Len's interests:
Basketball, Football, and more basketball and football. A true jock
He LOVES music, hip hop his favorite.

He likes to drink, only really dances with me, and can't drink too much, he gets sick

He would LOVE paintball, I think b/c he talks about wanting to go, so I LOVE that idea.

He would also like the cigar idea. I wonder if I could find that guy that rolls it right in front of them. I saw it at a bridal show once, but it's most likely expensive.
