Hi, What did you or will you be including in your invites? what inserts? was there something that you wish you could have inserted, but hadn't thought of at the time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

we inserted- the invite, reply card, direction card to temple and we made up another card that matched the invite with where to reserve a hotel room.
I don't think you really need anything welse

that's everything I will have. for the exception of the hotel rooms. I had that w/ the save the dates.

We only included the Reception card, RSVP card, return envelope, and direction card (made to match the invitations) to the church.

I had my direction cards made up to match my invites.. which include the hall, church and hotel.. now, I also have written directions made up to match.. should i have written direction cards made up for the church? and a friend is doing us a favor and is having a couple of the side streets coned off so that guests can park.. how do I do this?
I was going to originally send them a flyer or some sort of card, for them to put in their windshields or to show the officers when they get to the church.. should I just send them when I get their acceptance (RSVP)?

I am including the invite, reception card, reply card/reply envelope, 2 sided directional card (to the church and from the church to the reception), directions to the reception (for those who choose not to come to the ceremony), and 2 hotel directional cards for the out-of-towners- wow, that's a lot!

The only extra thing besides the direction cards I had was the hotel card. Too many inserts tend to be confusing for people, and I've opted to leave word with the hotel regarding other stuff like the shuttle bus.
Although, a lot of invitations now make it really easy to include more stuff so that it won't be too confusing. I saw one that we almost got that had a pocket for all that extra stuff....something to look into!

I am confused on the tissue paper thing. Did your invitations come with them? Why are you putting it in if it didn't? Also is anyone else who is having a day wedding having an after party and if you are how you are working the invitations to that!

we're not having a formal 'after party' just basically, those close fam and friends staying at and going back to the hotel who will hang out afterwards.. we will do this by word of mouth, so those who don't wish to come don't feel obligated to do so.. =)
