I left them on the counter to cool and she stole them when I went upstairs for a minute! What do I do??

She should be fine. 7 cookies isn't that much! My old dog ate an entire pan of brownies and was fine. Milk chocolate isn't as bad for dogs as bakers chocolate.

I'm not sure if it'll be a problem for you....don't know much about dogs...
but my parent's dog ate 1/2 a stick of butter off the table once...she threw up a few times and was fine....another bad doggie!

Make her drink peroxide. It will cause her to throw up. A couple of tablespoons is enough.

just watch her behavior. my dog at a whole bunch of chocloate when he was a puppy and he was 100% fine. if the dog starts looking groggy or weird, then call a vet. i think inducing vomiting might cause more harm than good. thre's really not that much choclate in 7 cookies if you add it up, and it's milk choc=olate..very little cocoa!

just keep your eye on her.. Molly ate a hershey's kiss once and she was OK (you can imagine that a kiss for her body is a lot of chocolate).
we called the vet and he said to keep an eye out.. she got the poops but other that that was fine..

OMG - your Casey has quite the appetite! First couch pillows, now cookies!! What's next, I wonder? I agree that 7 cookies was probably not enuogh to maek her sick, even tho doggies shuold not eat chocolate! I'm slow, I just noticed this post was from last night! How is she doing today?

I agree with everyone. Her stool may get a little runny but that's about it. Angel got into the halloween candy once and ate a few mounds bars! Runny doo-doos but she was fine.

Dont worry my aunts yellow lab jumped up on the counter and ate 2 boxes of chocolate entermanns dougnuts, he was fine.
