i have a bichon frise- she is my baby, i treat her like she is my daughter. she is vety spoiled and is the queen of our house! yesterday my husband and i rescued an english bulldog from a shelter. she grew up with 2 larger dogs around and they have since passed away, and she usually loves other dogs. but she doesnt seem to like our new bulldog and i am racked with guilt that i did something bad to her. does anyone think that she just needs time to get used to him, or am i a bad mommy?? please share your opinions.

There is def. an adjustement period. Give it about two days and make sure you give your first dog tons and tons of love right now so he does not feel like he is being replaced.

i agree. she is used to being #1 and she can't feel like she is being replaced. let them get to know each other but don't force them to like each other.
