Repost - HM Booked with Travel Tom!!

So I had no intention of going through a travel agency becaue FH has a time share that we were just going to use to exchange a week wherever we wanted to go. But then it became a hassle. We had to deposit the week and then wait and hope that it comes open. I mean don't get me wrong, when you have a timeshare, you only pay airfare, food, etc. But you're also limited to one hotel, 1 week and it's extra if you want to add on more time.


So after seeing everyone rave about Tom on here, I just decided to give him a call and see what he could come up with.

He really is amazing. We had some communication issues partly because I just didn't have the time to call him and confirm things. So this caused my reservations to keep changing because of me. We talked about 6 weeks at most back and forth, email and phone. He responded to my every email and my every phone call and I was happy for that.

I gave him a budget and give him my options of where I wanted to travel. He really did his work and sent me all the info on airfare, hotel, tours, food, etc. I didn't have to do ANYTHING. In the end he got me everything I wanted and more. I really am happy with him.

The only advice I have, please communicate properly with him. IF you do decide to book with him, please provide him with CORRECT names that match FH and your passport. My FH has a nickname and I was not paying attention and didn't realize I gave him the wrong him. I almost got charged a fee from the airline for issuing a name change BUT again Travel Tom saved the day and got that waived for me.

So FH and I are going to spend 9 nights/ 10 days in Italy . All the days that I will be there, daily breakfast is included and I got first class rail tickets from city to city.

2 nights in Venice with a tour and gondola ride.







3 nights in Florence with a half day tour

4 nights in Rome with half day tour of Rome and a full day tour of Naples, Capri, & Anacapri












So there you have it. Tom exceeded all of my expectation in helping me plan something amazing. I can’t wait to go.

Lastly, for anyone booking I advice to purchase insurance in case of an emergency of if you have to change dates, etc.

WOW!! That is amazing! I just got butterflies in my stomach just looking at that! Have a GREAT time! Isn't Travel Tom the sweetest????? We didn't have any luck booking thru him but he is the nicest person ever!
