Repost (honeymoon registry)

Have you ladies ever heard of this? How does it work? FH and I already booked out honeymoon, but I was wondering what a honeymoon registry can be used for. My FH's stepmom suggested this for things such as excursions, and I'm curious what you ladies think about it, especially the those who have one!

I have one, the travel agent I used set it up but they have online ones too. You can have people either pay money toward the honeymoon or buy you specific things such as dinners, massages, excursions, etc. try honeymoon pixie, there are others if you google them.

One of my friends had one set up. People can log on and pay for different honeymoon excursions. My friend really wanted to go zip-lining so a bunch of us found it on her registry and bought it for her and her husband. Even if your honeymoon is already booked, you should be able to add one either through whomever you booked with or the place you are staying at, as well as through different online outlets I'm sure.

Her travel agent had set it up for her, but did it through the resort she stayed in so she has no idea, sorry.
Here are a few I was looking at, but don't have any further information on them. Just be careful, I know Honeyfund is free, but some registries aren't. Hope this helps a little.
