My FH and I were discussing putting in a Memory Candle in our ceremony at our Church.
Has anyone done this? What is done? Did you put it into your program?
We were thinking of listing the peoples names the candle is being lit for???
Any suggestions would be great!

I AM doing a memory candle for my mom i am making it myself and putting her name on it, the deacon is going to say a few words about it, and then we are going to play either ave maria or i will remember you -sara mclaughlin (havent decided) here is a picture of one somebody made and posted before
My godmother lit the candle during the prelude, and I wrote the following in the program as an explanation:
'The lighted candle symbolizes the spirits of the loved ones we've lost over the years. They are with us today and every day-- their flame burns within us always.'
