What about Estelle's in LI, I think for what you described this would be a great option.

Or maybe RK bridal, they had a good selection of MOB dresses. THey also do price match so i think its worth checking out.

Ooh good idea, why didnt I think of that! Thanks Denise. Do you know how they are on alterations? I vaguely remember someone saying they werent too good.

which one estelles or RK bridal? If its RK bridal, we did get bm dresses from RK but we did no frills which meant we didnt get alterations there, we got it elsewhere so dont know

Oh lol, Im an idiot, only read the first sentence of your response!! So, I meant Estelles- my fault. I'm probally going to go the RK for my dress so Ill do a search on their alterations first.

What about looking in the evening gown section of a department store? Macy's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales?

I've also heard that Totally You in Bellmore is great for MOB/MOG dresses.

yeah i agree, but in the OP she said her mom doesnt want to check out department stores.
