REPOST: NEED UR HELP

I am the fiance of one of the liweddings brides and i am getting married in less than 2 weeks....about a year ago my fiance told me about this post she had seen about making a donation to a cancer foundation...the post had a link to the website of www.cancerresearchfoundation.com....now we are getting married soon and we without favors we are out thousands of dollars in 'donation' money and this place will not return our phone calls or emails....will somebody PLEASE help me find the original post....she is devastated and I just don't know what to do....can someone please help?

Thank you soooooo much...i sent that person a message asking if they had any more info about the site and i even tried reading her wedding review to see if she used them as favors and maybe it isn't a scam and maybe she got her favors....but there is NO mention whatsoever about favors in her review....everything but....does anyone have any suggestions about what i should maybe do....i just wanna try and fix this for my FW she won't stop crying and maybe if i can think of another idea or what to do with 10 days to go till the wedding and no favors and down a couple thousand dollars???? Any suggestions please????

Our donation didnt come with favors so we made favor cards and gave them with a little something extra.

Could you possibly do the jordan almonds, or something like that (candy wise) With a little tag that says 'A donation has been made'?

If you made the donation and the charity is real, why don't you just recreate the signs they have on their website? Seems simple enough to do.



Just get some cardstock from staples and print up the sign with your names on it and post it at your wedding. Then your guests will know where your donations went to. A lot of places don't make signs for you, you have to do them yourselves anyway. Consider it even more of your money going to the organization.

I wouldn't worry about being without favors. It really isn't that big a deal not to have something for everyone to take home. Explain your donation and your guests will feel good about what you've done. No worries!
