I am the fiance of one of the liweddings brides and i am getting married in less than 2 weeks....about a year ago my fiance told me about this post she had seen about making a donation to a cancer foundation...the post had a link to the website of www.cancerresearchfoundation.com....now we are getting married soon and we without favors we are out thousands of dollars in 'donation' money and this place will not return our phone calls or emails....will somebody PLEASE help me find the original post....she is devastated and I just don't know what to do....can someone please help?

so sorry about your situation i hope it gets resolved, i think any type of edible favor would be the fastest to get and prob the most bang for your buck after spending so much on the donation
i.e. cupcakes, theres a cute godiva chocolate mini wedding cake, cookies, etc

I am so sorry this happened!!!!
As far as easy, inexpensive favors, you could do a box of personalized candy or mini wine bottles with a personalized tag (these are easy DIYs)

yes the girl that suggested the website for the donations had a wedding last month and reviewed about everything but her favors....i messaged her and she said she decided not to do the donation....i feel terrible my fiance is blaming herself and saying she is the only idiot who fell for this scam....i mean with only 10 days to go, money is tight enough (as you all know) and i just wanna fix this.....i don't want my beautiful future wife to have to worry about this...I just want her to have the AMAZING, WONDERFUL wedding that she has been dreaming of and planning for the last 2 years....it is utterly disgusting how these people who run these scams pray on sick, elderly, young, old, vulnerable, and giving people.....if we had the money we would make a 'REAL' donation to the American Cancer Society....i told her the suggestions you guys had to make the donation cards ourselves....but she said she feels like she would be 'scamming' our guests since the money didn't really go to Cancer Research....i appreciate all your girls' help and suggestions and anymore would be greatly appreciated!

I got that off the website. Call until you get through to someone and demand that they either send you the favors and provide proof of where the money is going or refund your money. If they give you a hard time tell them you are going to call the Better Business Bureau and the local authorities! That always works!! Let us know how everything works out!

If you can't get through to them maybe call the American Cancer Society and ask if they have another contact information.
If that doesn't work either maybe call Sloan Kettering Hosptial's PR and see if they have any additional contact #'s for them.
