Please tell me your experiences at this place. My MOH picked this for dinner for my bachelorette party and I know very little about it.
Thanks.

I have been a few times and I had my Bday there a couple of years ago. It is a fun atomosphere, it is great for groups of people. There is usually a bachelor or bachelorette party there and they will have that person stand on a chair and the whole restuarant will sing to them.

We're going here for my bachelorette party! I went last year for my friend's and loved it!! The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Is this the place on 53rd on the West side? If so, my friend had her bachelorette dinner there last year and we had a blast. They cater to bachelorette parties and other girls nights out and it was a lot of fun. The food was excellent and they played fun music and guests were allowed to dance on chairs and tables. If you are looking for a quiet, subdued dinner this in not the place for you, but if you are looking for a place to start the night off partying, this is a great place. HTH!

Thats where we went for my B-party and we had such a great time..we did go other places afterwards but I would of been fine with just staying there. I dont remember eating,,since we were dancing the entire time!! Just be aware..even though reservations are made,,expect at least up to an hour wait..I know we did...
I loved every second of being there!

Can you guys describe it a little more in detail? Is it just girls or do other people go there besides bachelorette parties? What kind of music? What kind of food? What is the price range?
Sorry for all the questions - sounds fun just want to know more details about it. TIA!

Hi, I was there about 2 years ago for a friend's birthday. They do get a lot of parties, but there are definitely 'regular' people there having dinner. It's yummy Italian food and the music is mixed - fun music.... No one goes that wants a quiet dinner
You'll enjoy it!!

My girlfriends and I went there for dinner when we graduated last year... it was a fun place... really yummy food and the price fixe for parites was reasonable.. i seem to remember something like $30 for dinner and dessert and feeling stuffed afterwards... there were families in there eating, too.. but also a bachelorette party going on at the table next to us... they were a little raunchy with those girls and i dont know how i would have felt if i was the family sitting next to that table, or how comfortable i would have felt as the bride-to-be doing BJ shots with the hot waiter while a 10 yr old kid was at the table next to us watching... it looked like good fun, but if youre a private person, i dont know if its the right place... delicious food though ad if youre just looking for a fun dinner and night out, then definitely check it out! good luck!

They cater to bachelorette parties? That sounds like the total opposite of what I want. Great. ETA - does the staff try to do anything to the bachelorette??? I might have to make my friends change the plan.

i dont know if the girls asked for them to do that or if that was what they typically do, but they did a little thing with the hot waiter and the bj shots and some dancing on the chairs....call and ask maybe?

Maybe the night I was there was a fluke, but the place was packed and it was full of women only (maybe a handful of guys), with the exception of the waiters. I don't remember them doing anything specifically to my friend who was the bachelorette but there was a little craziness with the dancing on tables and bachelorette paraphenalia.

It's a great place. It was so much fun I never went to a restaurant like that before they give you tambourine and everything.

Re: repost NWR: Mangia e Bevi
I was there for my friends bachelorette party this past May. We went on a Saturday night, and at this time it was all women-only parties, there were no 'regular' people there. We had reservations, but did have to wait a bit... It was fun, but definitely can get raunchy without having to request it... they bring out the BJ shot for the bride to do, and while we were all up on the chairs dancing, the waiters kinda of came up and danced behind us, and at one point a random waiter started smacking a towel against my butt - which was not ok by me, so i turned around and was like 'not cool' and he stopped right away, without incident.
It was an overall fun time though, and good food. They can get a bit much, but its not as if it's forced upon you... hth

I went there for my best friend's bachelorette party. I had SO much fun!! I thought the food was great and the atmoshphere was so fun!!! You'll have a great time!
ETA: If you are looking for some lap dances and fun stuff like that then this is NOT the place. Its very laid back..they play music really loud and you dance on the chairs with tambourines (sp?). I thought it was fun, but its not for everyone

I went for dinner with my friends and my mother-in-law was with us (for my bachelorette party). It was fun up until a nasty waiter put a napkin on the ground and pointed insinuating I should get on my knees as he stood in front of it. He was under the impression I would do my shot and give him a mock BJ. NOT HAPPENING. I was appalled (and embarassed b/c my mother-in-law had to hear me tell the guy he wasn't getting any kind of BJ from me!)

I went their for a BP and it was great. It's very small and though they take reservations they really don't stick to them!!! The food was good and inexpensive. Girls get up on the chairs and dance. They do this funny 'show' when they serve you a shot. Its a good time.
