repost - photography question from BHB

We are stuck on photographers (I feel so behind - we wanted this booked months ago.)

How do you feel about digital photography vs. film? I've done some research & it's just made me more confused. What (or did) you use and why?

Digital technology has improved very very much. It used to be that digital photos would 'fade' in color and clarity over time. It's much improved frmo years ago and it's not the case anymore. We are having a mix of digital and film, but mostly digital.

Come on, Girls. I know most of you have booked your photographer. Was the type of film not a factor in your decision? Maybe I'm crazy for thinking about the type of film? Please help!
