Repost - Tuxes - What is proper?

If you get a free rental or two...does the groom keep the free one or give it to the best man? One will def go to my dad...but the other...does he keep it or is it proper to give the freebie to the best man?

Could you reduce the cost of everyone's tux so that no one actually got a free tux but everyone paid less (i.e., take the free tuxes and the cost of all the other tuxes add them up and then divide by the number of members of the WP that are wearing tuxes)? I think it is really personal preference.
